Renee Austin returns with the highly anticipated follow-up to her remarkable "Sweet Talk" - the national debut which resulted in her W.C Handy Award nomination for "Best New Artist" "Right About Love" continues Austin's musical journey, mixing blues, roadhouse rock and gospel anchored by her dynamic, five-octave vocal range. Since her 2003 debut, Austin was included in the taping of PBS-TV's "Blues Divas" (along with Mavis Staples, Odetta, Irma Thomas). "Austin's tough, husky growl can be as gutsy as Tina Turner or as tender as Maria Muldaur." - All Music GuideThis product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media. Soft Place to Fall
Soft Place to Fall

No doubt about it, Deborah Coleman's got chops. Voice, guitar, songwriting: they're all there, and musings as to why this woman hasn't yet achieved crossover success are necessarily uncharitable toward mainstream tastes and predilections. There's no question she could teach a thi...

Reviews:

Renee Austin is asome
I had never heard of Renee Austin before. For me to buy a album I have to hear at least one song that I really like. I heard the song "Bugs" late one night on the radio. I loved it enough to buy the album. Turns out there are a few other songs on this album I like to add to my play list. Some albums sound the same all the way through... not this one by any means. You can hear the emotion coming through like she was in the moment. The thing I like the most is her unique style in her voice and story telling. This is one album I can listen to all the way through without getting the urge to skip to the next track. Over all I love it. This coming from a guy who tunes to country stations exclusively.
