Prodcut Description: [More Information ...]
The newest face of Latin rhythmic music comes with several twists: He hails from Panama, not Puerto Rico; calls his style romantic reggae, not reggaetón; and in Mexico, where his success has given him entry to the U.S. market, he calls himself Flex. Flex says of his album Te Quiero, "It's a fusion of reggae music in Spanish with ballad lyrics." 27-year-old Felix Danilo Gomez, counts Panamanian reggae pioneer El General as a major influence. Flex's sound has great success in translating to an American audience, given the success of romantic reggaetóneros like Rakim & Ken-Y and Casa de Leones.

The king of ranchero music's album cover isn't the best portrayal of the great work you'll find inside this 12-track disc, with songs written by Joan Sebastian for the Don Chente. From the tragic "La Derrota," the optimistic "Niña Hechicera" (with more of a pop arrangement), and...

The career of this singer/songwriter has made huge strides in the last five years, and it shouldn't surprise anyone that the Colombian singer's style has become unique. If this were his first CD, Juanes could be labeled as genial, because no sound can even get close to what we he...

The debut effort from stylishly scruffy trio Camila has all the elements of a Latin-pop smash: slick production, sensitive-guy lyrics and choruses designed for arena sing-alongs. It's a glossy, gorgeous package that should incite some serious girl-swooning. Such careful planning...

No me gusta mucho
Samples on Amazon were pretty good but his voice on the CD sounds like it is going to crack. Some songs actually sound like a joke. Like some bad movie that puts a guy on stage in a kareoki bar. Honestly, Out of the 40 to 40 Latin cd's I've bought over the past year or so, this guy has the absolute worst voice. I'm hoping I will enjoy it more over time but so far it is painful to listen to.

hmmm
Smart move by his label not to use N-gga as his moniker here in the states.... it wouldn't fly. I've heard the album but don't own it.... I liked Luna, Te Quiero, Escapate(hot) most. Didn't like Gritarle or Dejala. Album is a decent listen.

Greatest hits album remember that!
Basically the best song on the album is numero uno Te Quiero. This is a timeless song. He sings from the heart which is Flexs strength. Flexs voice may not be exceptional on this album at times but he makes it up with his charisma and passion for the music. Other exceptional songs are sin tu amor si no te tengo gritarle y luna! Look for his latest songs online Te Dejare and Por Ti Baby with Kumbia All Starz which are very good! Panama forever
