Nice, snug fit ear warmers are light weight yet provide great warmth.
While these don't coil up for storage they are so light weight and cozy. I just clip mine to my scarf when storing. Great buy.

Fit my husband, but not me
I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my husband. They just arrived today. He tried his on and he says they fit fine on him, but on me, they keep sliding off my head. I thought it would be the other way around because I have thick hair and usually find that his hats are too small on me. But shipping was fast and we got it on sale. Well, I guess my husband will have two pairs now. We haven't tried it outside, so I can't speak for how warm it keeps your ears.
Disposable Ear Warmers
If the price of something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Such is the case here. Private Island says these are $20 EarPro ear warmers marked down to the incredibly low price of just $1.05. Only a fool would pay $20, or $10, or even $5. These are $1-$2 ear warmers. They should consider using the word "disposable" in the product description, as this would be more accurate. If the build quality was any lower, they would be useless. Perhaps this would be ideal for someone who is always losing their warmers and needed a box full of cheap facsimiles available to simply reach in and pull out a new set every time the need arose, but that's not what I was looking for, so these are going back.
Update 01-28-10: Since writing this, I've noticed the price of these fluctuates day-to-day between $1 and $8.
Ear Muffs
If you do any outdoor activity, this is a great item to keep your ears warm and protect against the wind. It fits around the back of my head so I can wear a cap without interference. And while it does cut hearing somewhat, the pads are thin enough to let you hear adequately.
