Reviews:
Baby shower hit I purchased this gift for a baby shower of a woman that worked in yellow page advertising. What a perfect gift! It was the hit of the baby shower to be able to give a gift that fit the mother's career so perfectly! Comfortable and fun This is a great booster seat. It's soft, comfortable, and cleans up easily. We've got one for each of our boys. Eventually the graphic top does peel off, but the foam itself is durable and the seat is still comfortable. If your kid has outgrown a baby booster seat but still needs something to sit comfortably at the table, give this a try. Cute but not very well made A clever idea, and definitely a conversation piece when people see it. Functional too: my 2-year-old used it every day for a few weeks.
The problem though is that the black printing started peeling off after just that short time. At a minimum this is unsightly. I'm hoping that it's not also unsafe - some kid, somewhere, is undoubtedly eating the peeled-off ink. Maybe mine for all I know.
I imagine it would be considerably more expensive for them to make this in a way that would withstand use. As it currently stands though, this is a nice gag gift for someone who will never use it, but not a practical robust booster for everyday use. Yellow pages booster I love this booster seat and so does my niece, it was purchased for her. Not only is it functional it's a conversation piece as well. I have to say the price is very nice too.
I did my due diligence and looked at a lot of other booster seats on the market both online and at physical shops, and found zilch. I finally found the "one", and then it was of course, back ordered, not to mention much pricier. Since I was using telephone books as a substitute until I found the "one" it made sense to me to choose what most resembled what my niece was already used to, with the plus of comfort & price it was all in all a very practical decision. Let's face it, the booster seats out there are not very attractive and look uncomfortable & bulky, this one looks like a book, is comfy, easy to clean and light enough for children to carry. What more could you ask for in a booster seat.
