Poor finish, poor design
These rack come with splinters on them, and small cracks in the wood. You are essenstially getting some little boards that you have to put together yourself.And, if you stack them, there is not enough vertical clearance on the bottom racks to fit most shoes. A flat loafer works ok. But, tennis shoes and dress shoes (don't even think about any kind of boot) won't fit. The racks need at least another inch, preferably two inches, of vertical space. I am completely disappointed with this product.

Good Customer Service
The rack is great and my husband loved it. The product is of high quality . Since I misunderstood the size of the rack--I called customer service and was amazed at the professionalism and help I received when I was a little upset. Great experience all around.

Make your closet smell really fresh!
I bought this item because I already own Cedar Shoe trees, that make my shoes smell pretty good, they also keep the shape, and eliminate the eventual dampness that come from wearing shoes all day. I also wanted to, organize my closet and straighten out the floor of the closet. This helps on both fronts. It smells great, and makes the whole closet smell good, and it does help organize the floor. My only problem with the rack is, the picture does not represent the rack. The rack as purchased, is only one level , and has the dowels (pegs) for another level, and that is what I thought I was going to get, a multi-level rack. I will have to purchase another rack to complete the look, so I was a little disapointed. It was very simple to assemble, just a hammer, and a towel were necessary to properly force the pegs through. Good product, but you need to order 2 of these to get the entire effect.
