These are either cheaply made of they are having serious QC problems.
I ordered these headphones on SanDisk's recommendation and figured they would pair well with my Sansa E280. On the 1st pair the right earphone was inoperable right out of the box so was returned. Both earphones worked on the 2nd pair but the sound quality was acceptable at best. Then the first time I pulled them out of the Sansa's jack the cover on the jack-end of the cord pulled off and deeply gouged the wire covering. I have sent them back again and will be looking for a different pair of earphones.

Thoroughly Impressive Performance
I purchased these headphones for use while at work. I do not have a Sansa player but needed a good basic set of earphones for listening to iTunes and XM Radio online. I've been extremely impressed with the depth and breath of sound these little earphones produce. It's hard to believe earphones can sound this good, vastly better than the standard iPod earbuds. These earphones also fit comfortably for extended periods of time, which is another big plus.

Good earphones
I bought these as a replacement for my J-bud earphones which only lasted 2 months before one of the earbuds failed. I expected these earphones to last a long time since they come with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, and so far, I have had mine for almost a year and they still sound great.

trust me when i say this. i am a pro musician. these earbuds have a studio like sound. all the instruments and voices are more clear and crisp sounding and unlike other earbuds they allow you to hear echo like effects through them. all the delay gives you the impression like you are hearing it live. if you want earbuds you would be smart buying these.
