Neat little mouse
I got this mouse early in the summer, and it's a pretty good product. It works well with my Dell laptop (though it would work just as well with a desktop). It doesn't come with instructions, and there's one neat piece of functionality that's pretty cool. This only works with recent vintage software (I use MS Word 2003, and it works fine with that, as well as Firefox, my fave web browser). When you press the scroll wheel down once, the cursor turns into a little round icon with arrows that point up and down. If you keep the cursor in that spot, the page stays where it is, but when you move it up or down a little, the file scrolls smoothly up or down, and the more you move the cursor up or down, the faster it scrolls. This is neat, since I spend a lot of time scrolling up and down as part of my work, and I love this feature. You tap the scroll wheel again to turn off this feature. The only slight drawback is the range (the space between the receiver that plugs into the USB port and the mouse itself), which is only about 3 feet, but that's not a problem for me. The scrolling feature also works with some of the (recent) software I run on my Mac iBook (only the stuff that runs behind OS X). Be sure to buy it here; a couple of local stores (Staples, among others) charge the MSRP of $30; not only did I get my fave color, I paid only $13 plus shipping.
Great Product
I use this product every day. I use it with a graphics software program and it works great. I replace the battery every 3-4 months. This is my second mouse of this model, the first one lasted about a 1 1/2 years of continuous use.

This is my best computer purchase since I bought my daughters "MAC"...I love it so much its my plan to purchase another one.
Does the job, but nothing more or less
This is supposedly the to be the top selling mouse. That said, I'm not really sure why it's special. As far as comfort goes, it's more or less fine. It's functional and the price is adequately cheap.
Mine however sometimes has problems with the signal to the USB connection. I did not have this problem with my logitech mouse. It's minor and I quick wiggle of the usb connection can correct this when it's acting up in particular. If you need something simple with no frills and cheap, go ahead and get this mouse. If you need more bells an whistles, there are plenty of others to choose from.
