Any thing containing a liquid must be in a container of 3 oz. or less, all placed in 1, 1-quart zip-top bag. This has made packing carry-ons a hassle, but this kit provides all that you need. Worked
Bought this for a cruise I went on to save space in my luggage. Didn't have to worry about the TSA. Since I don't travel.... I gifted this (after the cruise) to someone that does travel. Hope they liked it also.
Very disappointed, did not contain a leak
I was VERY disappointed with this item. I had been initially concerned as there was an obvious gap from the edge of the zipper to the wall of the bag (which was, as one other reviewer said, a rather-stiff, cheap-feeling plastic), and--sure enough, something leaked in transit and it ran out from the hole by the zipper into my brand-new suitcase making quite a mess... an aromatic one, no less, as now everything--including the suitcase--smells like Aveda Shampure shampoo. I do not recommend this though I originally thought it was a good idea. This was not well executed.
Pretty good but missing one needed item
This is a pretty simple product... Hard to go wrong on anything here. Good supply of nalgene bottles, Sturdy zipper bag clearly marked TSA compliant. What it is missing is a small sprayer cap for one of the bottles. Add this to the product and it gets that 5th star...
Low quality but expensive
I purchased this item since I travelled only for a few days and I did not want to check in my luggage. I filled those transparant bottles with my shampoo and conditioner and the small white containers with my hair gel. When I arrived, my hair gel was out of the containers and stained the other bottles. So, I do not think the small white containers could seal the content properly. I suggest not buying this product and look for a better one.
cheaply made, but functional
I was pretty nervous when I received this because I immediately realized it is quite cheaply made. The bag is light, stiff plastic with sharp edges where it is seamed together. I would rather just use a Ziploc. The bottles also feel light and cheap, but seem to be leak free. I've kept one in my purse with mouth wash in it and had no problems. I'll probably use the bottles occasionally, but I doubt I'll use the bag. I think I'll look for other, more sturdy bottles for regular travel though.
