Totes Auto Open/Close Superdome Umbrella

It's worth it to pay a little more for a good umbrella
So instead of buying another cheapy umbrella at the store, I decided to get a Totes on Amazon. I decided to not get the smallest, but one just a little larger. It works fine, the nice thing about the way this is made vs a cheap one is if the wind catches it and turns it inside out, it's not breaking the spines, they're designed to fold, so I can just turn around and let the wind push it back out. That's how I lost my last cheapy umbrella.

Fabulous family/ group umbrella
We LOVE this umbrella. The size easily covers two people. The auto close makes getting into a car a dream; keeping the umbrella up, you partially close the door, push the umbrella close button, then bring the umbrella into the car and tuck it into the floorboard beside your left foot. NICE. My dad likes the one I gave my mom so much, he asked for one for Christmas. I also gave my sister one. Had to buy it online because the Totes store @ my local outlet mall closed.

Love the size!
I love the size of this umbrella and how easy it is to open and close with the push button. I took off one star because it takes a lot of effort to push the umbrella down to the handle once it closes at the top. If this is important, it may not be good for those who suffer from arthritis. Other than that, I stay thoroughly dry even in windy conditions. It is very sturdy and the security of Totes' lifetime guarantee is an added bonus.

A must for anyone on the go!
This is a fantastic, HUGE, automatically opening, colorful umbrella. When closed, it is surprising small! and has a large velcro wrap (attached) to secure it shut. I use an electric wheelchair to travel around our large campus. I have always kept a small collapsible umbrella in my back chair pocket. But those umbrellas are to small to really do the job of protecting both me and my chair. On horribly rainy days I was forced to also take a golf umbrella which was exceedingly tedious and heavy. And then, of course, I had this long sharp item to deal with all day. (very inconvenient) The Totes umbrella has a button on the handle that causes it to suddenly pop up into its open position. (after the very secure velcro tab has been loosened) Also one press on the button causes the umbrella to "deflate", as I put it, for ease of slipping into a car or a building without fiddling in the rain. Once inside, it can be set aside to dry, or if necessary closed, by pressing on the top until it retracts into its original closed position.

Super Umbrella
This umbrella is so "happy" that even when it's grey and gloomy with rain, you can't help but smile with all the wonderful bright colors. It's very large - two people fit very comfortaby beneath it and I love the automatic open AND automatic close features. A very great umbrella for a very reasonable price.
