Good Umbrella
As always, Amazon shipped fast. Got the brella with plenty of time to wrap before Christmas. I've used it a half dozen times and it functions perfectly. The size is great for me, I'm a big man. I really like the auto-collapse feature when getting in the car or approaching your destination. It folds the umbrella down with one button push, PLUS it knocks most of the rain off itself! Construction seems to be very sturdy, but I haven't had a chance to get in any high winds with it yet. Somebody complained about how hard it was to reset the spring...ARE YOU KIDDING? My 3 year old daughter can do it. Great purchase.
Great Umbrella!
I originally bought this umbrella at Macy's 3 years ago. It held up for 3 years of heavy use and I only needed to buy another one because I left my old one at a concert. This thing is strong, wind resistant and quite large. If this can hold up in NYC windy and rainy conditions, it can hold up to anything you throw at it.
men's umbrella works well for all
This is a great, sturdy umbrella and it truly covers you unlike your standard ones. My only criticisms are it is a bit heavy in my carry bag and it takes two hands to close it.
broke before I got a chance to use it.
I was excited about this umbrella when I received it because it had gotten good reviews and looked well made. The case with the carrying strap looked handy. It opened easily with a push of the button to a very impressive size. Pushing the button closes the umbrella but doesn't retract the pole. Doing that required a little muscle, but I was able to get retracted without much effort. I then tried it again, and when it opened one of the ribs was bent and couldn't be manipulated back into its original position. Needless to say, I'm returning the umbrella. Maybe it was a fluke, but I still don't plan on buying the same model.
NOT ITS USUAL USE
My Totes is in my motorcycle's saddle bag ready for use when I'm caught it a thunderstorm while on the road. Popped open (while stopped off the road of course) it covers me and the electronics on the bike. Storm over, it's back in the bag and I'm back on the road ...dry.
