Do Not Buy This Umbrella
This umbrella disintegrated after 2 uses. I plan to take advantage of the lifetime warranty, but this low quality item is a surprise coming from Victorinox. I don't expect the next one to last either.
It's ok but too small
This umbrella is...ok. It is solidly constructed and has flexible plastic support bars underneath for strong wind. The fact it comes in different colors and the push button open and close are also a nice features. The caring case is top notch. One of the main reasons I got it is the comfort grip, which is by the way very comfortable. However, the umbrella canopy is just too small. It does not provide enough coverage for heaver rains especially when the wind blows. So in closing, it's a good umbrella to keep in the car for unexpected rain. Or when you just want to cover your head and shoulders when going from the car to a store/work. If you really want an awesome umbrella I recommend spending an extra $5 and get the ShedRain WindPro Auto Open/Close Jumbo Mini. I got it only 3 weeks after I purchased this one and it's great. It's about the same length, comfort foam rubber grip, auto open/close, and wind venting. The canopy is much larger! It's just a little thicker when wrapped up in the case. Hope this helps :-)
Weak against Wind
It's a really attractive and compact umbrella... but it was destroyed after a couple months of being used in a particular windy city.
Fortunately, I received a "wind proof" umbrella as a gift shortly before the umbrella was finally killed.
Avoid unless you live in a vacuum
I'd give it a one out of five, but it DOES work well . . . until the wind blows, that is. After two units breaking, I am tired of paying to send it back to the manufacturer. Although the manufacturer will honor the warranty, at this point, I could have purchased a new one for the cost of shipping it back. It is also very small and kept little other than my head dry.
its sucks
i purchase this product because the quality of the brand, but in this case that doesn`t work, i just use the umbrella 3 times and its explode in my face in the middle of a storm, please i want my money back
