Reviews:
Great lightweight rain jacket
I bought this jacket for a trip to Scotland, as I knew it would be rainy off and on. It's very lightweight, no inner lining, though it worked great over a hooded fleece. The zip-away hood is nice too. It packed up very tightly for storage in my suitcase, and I could stuff it into my bag on the days it wasn't raining. I would definitely recommend for travel use. The color is a little brighter than the image - almost a bright salmon. The photo looks like a muted brick, which it's not. It also has zip-close pockets, which are great.
Columbia rain jacket
I lost my favorite rain jacket and bought this as a replacement. It came quickly and was exactly what I wanted. Even a little nicer than my old familiar rain jacket.
Disappointing for active use
I've had this for over a year now. I bought it looking for wind protection and am very disappointed with the breathability of this product. It traps moisture inside and I end up with a visibly damp shirt and have to turn the jacket inside out to dry. That's what happens in dry weather. The fit is comfortable and it's otherwise conveniently designed. The fabric in white is quite see-through. Later I purchased Turfer's "Womens's Light Weight Endurance Jacket" for $14.95 and that's been the perfect windbreaker. It's now up to $19.95 and I'm ordering another color.
rain jacket keeps ya dry, that's it
yellow color is kinda dull, that's the only color of the coat, it kept me dry, but provided no warmth
good jacket, but a little warm
I bought this jacket for a volunteer work trip in Costa Rica, during the rainy season there. It was perfect for the heavy rains, but was a little warm! Plus, I had bug spray and sunscreen on my arms, so the jacket stuck a little, but that's not the jacket's fault. :) For the price, the jacket was great and well suited for the trip. And, the sage/green color is great.
