A high standard in comfort
These socks have the advantage of high bulk acrylic which has an uncanny similarity to cashmere. There is no down side to that softness. The only down side is the short lived heel, which begins to thin out sooner than it should. The claim is that the heel is reinforced, but that doesn't translate into lasting longer, or even an average length of time. That said, I still recommend these socks highly. They are a pleasure to wear. If you need to replace them a bit more often, it's worth it.
dockers pill-catching socks
These socks are soft and warm. However, each time I wash them, they pill horribly. I think it's the acrylic material in the sock. So, I can't wear them out of the house and won't be buying any more of them.
Soft, Cushy & Non-Binding
After an exhastive review of many socks on the market, we selected these, for their comfort,feel (like cashmere), and non-binding at the calf, (no circulation cut-off). They have been wonderful so far, although durability is still to be discovered. FIVE STARS!
