This suit is a very rare Gino VALENTINO design featuring superfine, super 150S wool / silk that give is a look and feel like butter! with a beautiful, chic and comfortable cut in a tropical weight suitable for year round use. This suit features a modern business cut and design similar to Zegna with a super soft, high sheen wool /silk blend. The suit is a true Italian cut with broad shoulders and a slimmer fitted waist. The jacket has dual side vents, one of the most impressive aspects of this suit to me is the lining. It features a custom bespoke matching classic design which is normally only found on custom made bespoke suits. JACKET: CANVAS FRONT JACKET, Top Workmanship, 2 pockets with flaps, 3-button, dual side vents, single breasted closure and flap hip pockets. Notched / Fully lined, 4 Sleeves Buttons with working sleeve buttonholes SLACKS: Flat Front Pants and lined to the knee with white viscose lining, 100% cotton inside waistband for reinforcement, 2 besom side pockets and 2 besom back pockets with buttons, 6 belt loops, trousers come unhemmed in a 6 inch drop. Good buy for the money
This suit is definitely not worth the inflated retail price (probably more like 300-400 bucks). However it is a good buy for $[...]. The black w/ black stripe version (for $[...]) has a bit higher quality feel.
Small nit- stitching on the pants in-lining on the waist could be made better- could be a problem with a few times dry-cleaning (coming undone). Overall a nice suit. Spectacular Buy!!!
To begin with I was a little nervous about ordering a suit online, because afterall the only way to gage the product is by the photos. Although I liked what I saw from the pictures, I found the written reviews for the Gino Valentino suits to be quite helpful in helping me make up my mind to purchase, especially the verified reviews. I read every single review and all of them indicated that suits were of very high quality as well as a virtual steal for the price. In addition I also read other reviews other than those posted by Amazon.com, some of them stated that the working button holes could be problematic if the sleeves were too long. There is only one way the working button holes on the coat sleeves could be a problem, quite simply, they didn't not know their suit size. For the record I own several high end wool suits and by far the quailty of the Valentino suit either matches or surpasses those suits in quality. I purchchased 2 suits (jet black and charcoal gray) and the wool silk blend gives them a very nice sheen, and feel that is soft to the touch, which by the way, is a trademark of better quailty suits, the jacket was a perfect fit and other than having the pants cuffed, the suit comes out of the box ready to wear. They were also shipped promptly within a week. Theres an old saying that you get what you pay for. Gino Valentino Suits are the exception to the rule, I definitely got more than I paid for! Darya Trading Co. is the real deal and can't wait to purchase from them again. .. an International suit !!
Its amazing .. I live in Australia .. and this suit made of our wool, shipped to Milan Italy to be made, shipped to USA to be sold AND eventually shipped back to Australia to be worn !!!.. I truly have an international suit !
