This suit is a very rare Gino VALENTINO design featuring superfine, super 150S wool / silk that give is a look and feel like butter! with a beautiful, chic and comfortable cut in a tropical weight suitable for year round use. This suit features a modern business cut and design similar to Zegna with a super soft, high sheen wool /silk blend. The suit is a true Italian cut with broad shoulders and a slimmer fitted waist. The jacket has dual side vents, one of the most impressive aspects of this suit to me is the lining. It features a custom bespoke matching classic design which is normally only found on custom made bespoke suits. JACKET: CANVAS FRONT JACKET, Top Workmanship, 2 pockets with flaps, 2-button, dual side vents, single breasted closure and flap hip pockets. Notched / Fully lined, 4 Sleeves Buttons with working sleeve buttonholes SLACKS: Flat Front Pants and lined to the knee with white viscose lining, 100% cotton inside waistband for reinforcement, 2 besom side pockets and 2 besom back pockets with buttons, 6 belt loops, trousers come unhemmed in a 6 inch drop. My first suit and very impressed
First off, this is my first suit I've bought so I will say from the beginning I don't have the experience or other suits that I own to compare like other reviewers. I have rented many suits for weddings and such so that is the extent of what I have experienced.
With that said, I must first compliment Darya Trading for their customer service. I ordered this suit the morning of Jan. 18th, 2010 with expedited shipping (1-3) days. After receiving an email from amazon saying I will receive the package anywhere from 3-5 business days (Wed-the next Monday) I was a bit worried. I was hoping to receive the package no later than Friday so I get the pants hemmed for a wedding on Saturday. So I sent an email to Darya through Amazon asking about my order. I received an email about 30 minutes later from their representative telling me my order was still in processing but once it finished she would try to get my order out the same day if possible, no guarantees but she would try. I later received another email within another hour saying that my order has been processed and it will be shipped out that day (Monday) and since LA isn't far from me, I would probably receive it by Wed (which I did). 5 stars is well deserved for Darya's great and fast responses.
The suit. Well, it's just great. The pictures don't do justice for the shadow (black) pinstripes on this suit as the contrast they give are more well defined once you see them in person. Fabric feels great the moment you put it on. Soft, ease of moment, smooth, very breathable, and extremely comfortable to wear. I kept the jacket on throughout the whole night for the wedding without any problems. I only took it off to dance because I didn't want to get it dirty. There was no stiffness while moving about and regular movements with my arms. I'm truly happy to have purchased this as my first suit, and will be purchasing more of these Valentino suits from Darya (if they have it in stock). Excellent Quality and Service
I thought it was too good to be true but these suits rock! I ordered 3 suits and all were as promised...Great quality, good color match and shipped on time. Even when I contacted them they responded in quick. My only regret is that some styles do not have my size otherwise I would be ordering more! dbow
I received this suit today.I agree with the other five star reviewers about Valentino suits.Everything about this suit is outstanding.The material,workmanship and style is first class.I own a Versace, Zanetti and a Mantoni suit.You might think I am crazy,but I honestly like this suit better.It fits me like it was tailormade.
The shadow stripe was hard to see on the picture,it is beautiful,better than I expected.
This is such an outstanding deal, I am ordering two more suits.
