Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Magick is cheap and power is all around you. The most vibrant magick in the world is that of survival. If you know how it works you can use it anywhere, with anything, to do whatever you need or desire. Tactics is defined as the choice and application of technique in a specific situation. The purpose of tactical magick is to take the magick of survival and incorporate it into our daily lives. So called High Magick is chiefly concerned with expanding consciousness, contacting higher planes, and achieving gnosis. Tactical magick is about learning from the plight of those less fortunate and building upon their techniques to create an eclectic grimoire of daily survival. This is a patchwork system of pop-culture sorcery, techno-alchemy, and hermetic street magick.

Reviews:
Not what I was looking for. Okay book on how it works and what you need, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Lacking This book had a lot of good ideas. But it lacked any practice or implementation of the ideas Straight-shooting and Informative "Seth" is down-to-Earth, and provides novel techniques and ideas in this short book that are very useful to the seasoned practicioner to apply to his/her own workings. If these techniques be not applied, then it is of use for the practicioner to be made aware of these methods should they ever need to call upon them or counter them in the future. There is no lengthy and useless intro, for Seth dives right in to the subject. This book emphasizes resourcefulness and the power within the Self for survival and further magickal development, and I feel anyone who is serious about advancing their skills should own a copy. Original and thought provoking.... Aside from a few typos (which I will blame on the editor), this book is nothing short of awesome. It's a fast read but takes a while to actually digest if one is a serious practitioner of magick. Seth has original ideas that cause one to stop and ponder what they've actually learned within the confines of their chosen traditions/schools of magickal instruction. My favorite part of the book is the chapter on 'Occult Machines'...Totally original! This one book promted me to get his entire collection, which is well worth purchasing.
Thank you, Seth, for something fresh, original and totally usable. Power on Tap! I just finished Tactical Magick and I did like it. It is an easy read at 67 pages, and covers quite a bit of techniques without getting too deep into each. It leaves me at once with and expanded view of the world and possibilities of Magick, but also with a wetted appetite to delve deeper into many of the practices touched lightly upon by the author. It too has the theme that Magick can be makeshift and even invented on the spot, but stresses that knowledge and practice in the tried and true of tradition helps prepare the mage for this kind of spontaneous spell work.
I recommend the book.
Blessings!
