perfect
I purchased these pants for my son. He loves them! The fit, material, color and price were perfect. He also loves having the pocket. He runs every day and these pants get a lot of use, plus a lot of washing and drying, and they are still like new. I will definitely buy him more.
Comfy but not true to size
I find these sweats to be very comfy but not true to size. I purchased an XL and they fit more like a medium or tight large. They do stretch out after wearing them for a couple of hours. Medium weight keeps my legs warm. Shrink some after wash, but as I mentioned, they do stretch out after wearing them. I would order a size up if I order these sweats again.
Russell using poor quality materials
The fleece sweats arrived promptly, so the shipper did their part. The material Russell is using is of inferior quality, however, and pills severely. I suppose it has to do with profit, but companies that use poor quality material lose in the long run, as I will probably avoid other Russell products as well in the future.
Russell should know that 50/50 cotton/polyester fleece just doesn't work very well. I know it, but just wasn't paying attention.
Beware! These Run Very Small!
i admit im a big man. 46 inch gut 29 inch inseam. you would think that XL would fit me,but these pants have no room in size XL in the seat and the thighs. sweatpants are supposed to be big and baggy,these are not. russell is a good brand,very durable pants. i have worn them in the past for many years, ive never needed anything but XL. they do have a tendency to shrink after repeted wash/dry cycles, but still the fabric used will last a long time. someone should tell the sizing department at russell inc XL means big and baggy in the seat and thighs. im hoping XXL will fit, sweatpants for me are a must have all the time.
yes, these are sweatpants
Ordinarily, I wouldn't bother to write an Amazon review for sweatpants. Ordinarily, the occasion simply wouldn't warrant such a measure. But, I am living large because of these sweatpants. Coming home to a cold house never felt better, because I know these sweatpants are going to be there, waiting for me. I get home with cold legs, put these on, and BOOM--my reality is altered.
Another reviewer noted that these sweatpants have white pockets. Yes, they do, but I can forgive that; my keys and wallet prefer the soft white ambiance. These are powerful sweatpants.
