Very Comfortable & not bad on the eyes either.....
Not as comfortable as the NB MR882's but still a Very comfortable shoe. At my purchase price of $64.90 per pair (Sale Price) I consider the NB MR1223's a real steal if your fortunate enough to purchase your size at the same price.

This is a comfortable shoe for a large runner/walker. You need to buy a 1/2 size up.

Sad day for NewBalance
I have been a New Balance shoe wearer for about 6 years now. I have loved every pair I have had. I bought these and they felt great on my feet. Unfortunatly, I got a fluke bad pair of shoes and the stiching that holds the shoe lace eyelets in place came free the second time I wore them. Amazon was great about taking the faulty item back though.

New Balance Men's MR1223 Running ShoeThese shoes are super soft and mold to your foot like a glove. they are made with a very light material and the mesh is very breathable. These are the best shoes I have ever own. The only thing i would of changed is the color. I bought the red and white which are nice but I would of preferred blue and white.

Awesome shoes unbelievable price
A couple of years ago I had my running analyzed at a local shoe store to find the right shoe for my running style. Prior to this, I was buying running shoes based on how they looked. Little did I know that each person's foot strike would dictate the type of shoe they need. My Nike's were giving me shin splints and ankle. The running shoe store found that I over-pronated and that I needed shoes for stability on the inner part of my feet. They recommended the New Balance 1221. After putting those shoes through many miles, I was ecstatic to see the newer model of the 1221 on Amazon as the New Balance MR1223. These shoes not only look great but they also feel great on my feet. If you're planning on high mileage running on these shoes, I've been recommended to buy a size to a size and half bigger because feet swell when you run.
