excellent
I received my products in a timely fashion and in excellent condition...I would certainly recommend this seller to others...Thank you and may God bless and prosper you.
some good show, but starved for meaningful content
I loved Worship and Worship Again, and still listen to them over and over - they're some of my favorite albums!!!!! But this album was incredibly... disappointing. I bought it just before Christmas and received it as a gift as well, and I not at all excited about being able to give away one of my copies. There are a few decent songs, but nothing new or even very good. Most of the songs are so empty... just a few stock phrases repeated over and over with no development of thought and truth... I loved the first albums soooo much better. This is just going to collect dust in my MP3 collection.
New Hallelujah CD boring, uninspired
I guess I have to disagree with the majority of the reviewers here, in that I found this CD painfully disappointing. The title track, "A New Hallelujah", was good - as was MWS's rendition of "Mighty to Save". However, all of the other songs on the album were dull, repetitive, one-chord/one verse sung over and over and over.....I found myself skipping over them out of sheer boredom.
"Deep in Love With You" was actually painful to listen to. I don't know how a guy could write those lyrics. "The River is Rising" is monotonous and theologically vapid. I have loved MWS since 1990 and know he puts on a good show, but this album is a real letdown for someone of his talent and songwriting ability. I have several of his live CDs, worship and studio cuts, but this one is by far the worst. Sorry, guys. I'm sure it was better seeing it live, but the album...sucks. I'm sorely disappointed.
Definitely worth having
Glad I added MWS's New Hallelujah to my collection. His covers and new songs are well worth hearing.
A New Hallelujah
michael w. does it again. he takes the term "praise and Worship" to a new level. he continues to glorify God and lead others to the same
