Over the years I have put together solo arrangements of many of their tunes, those presented here and many others. Sixteen original tunes, written in the last year, played on the Maestro's 6-string, steel, and harp guitars. | The Mystery When Tommy Emmanuel opened this new album with the fire-breathing "Cantina Senese," I suspected he was finally going to do the rip-roaring country-old-timey-Celtic-jazz CD featuring the crowd-pleasing tunes he pulls out during concerts. But it doesn't take him long to slip into t... | Pictures This CD includes one of Stephen's great works, Suite for Slavomir. Reviews:
Love it Wonderful acoustic guitar...and I love it that not every cut sounds alike. This is not "new age"...which can sometimes sound so much a like that you hardly realize there is more than one cut on the album.
Beautiful music that I wish I could make on my guitar...if only I had talent!! Melody, Harmonics and Composition are all fabulous So many people have told me that this is their favorite Stephen Bennett cd. I agree that it is full of wonderful tunes and seems to fully capture the range of what Stephen Bennett can do on the guitar. It's not just his superb playing, incredible melodies and harmonics, but this cd also highlights his amazing compositonal skills. Two of my favorites on this cd are Walk on Winkfield Row and The Most Beautiful Sky. It's also a great treat to see Stephen and Tommy Emmanuel play Most Beautiful Sky together on stage. I am a big Stephen Bennett fan! |
