In the vast world of vocal music available to us today, there is precious little out there to claim our ears. When a singer like Jaimee Paul comes along, we remember that musical artistry and good taste can produce wonderful music in any decade. Jaimee has listened to, and learned, from the singers of the past but she is aware that there is already an Ella, a Rosie, a Lena and a Billie. Her job now is to use all those wonderful influences in a new way. She has all the tools; the voice, the ear, the feel and the spirit, and though you can hear echoes of many people in her voice, she really sounds like nobody but herself. Attribution, without mimicry, is the greatest compliment any singer can pay to the people who have blazed the trail. It is a rare pleasure to play for a singer with the taste, musicality and plain old good sense that Jaimee Paul has. She does great tribute to the iconic girl singers on this project by taking on some of their signature songs. I'm very proud to be a part of this project.

Wow!! What a voice!!
I just loved this cd. Her renditions of standards are absolutey superb. My two favorites are Crazy and Cry Me a River, but I was very impressed with all of the songs. I hope that she has a new cd soon.
Soulful, heart wrenching Jaimee Paul
Jaimee Paul has that rich velvety sound of Dinah Washington and sometimes a softer, mellow version of Aretha Franklin. After only a few notes, her voice reaches deep into your soul, you can't help but respond to the emotional tumult of her earthy, beautiful rendering of all of the songs on AT LAST. You will not be disappointed with any of Jaimee Paul's songs if you like Torch and 'Bluesy' Jazz renderings.Am so glad Amazon lets you listen to music online, otherwise I might never have discovered Jaimee Paul.

Lovely - At Last
What a wonderful voice. Jaimee Paul could have done herself a disservice recording the signature work of some of our greatest artists - why invite comparison to Judy Garland - one can only fall short. But she did a lovely job on this CD and I can't wait to hear her next recording.
Pleasantly Surprised
I was told by a friend to get this cd , that I would like it. Got the cd without ever hearing a track. Right to the point-I loved it. Her voice is unique and her working of At Last did it justice. Get this cd, you won't be sorry.

IN SOME RESPECTS YOU HAVE A BETTER VOICE. THAN THE TWO ARTISTS MENTIONED BUT SOME OF THEIR APPEAL IS THERE WONDERFUL ARRANGEMENTS.THERE VOICES AND THERE MUSIC ARE ONE AND THE SAME.
REMEMBER THIS ART FORM IS STILL REFERED TO AS MUSIC.
