A Great Idea a Long Time in the Making
When my eldest was a toddler, we took him to one of those toddler gyms every weekend. They played music during the freeplay time, and one of the CDs they had was a collection of saccharine Motown covers. I often wondered to why Motown themselves never did this. Well, now they have. These are all the originals - Stevie, Smokey, the Jackson 5 - and it's a fun listen from top to bottom. A friend came over the house and saw the collection. Having grown up near Detroit, she said, "This reminds me of every road trip I ever took with my parents." But most important, my kids love this disc. It's fun hearing them sing "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" and "Do You Love Me" at the tops of their lungs. A function at the junction, indeed. Highly recommended.

My kids love this CD! The concept is so smart - Songs for kids that parents love, too! Plus there are adorable kids tatoos inside! I also have 2 others from the same company that are awesome: "Totally 80s For Kids" and "Songs for the Car". It's such a relief to listen to music in the car again that I like, but my kids love, too! Totally recommend!
