For those who can't get enough of those Barney songs, here's a made-for-video show packed full of song and dance. The story line is oh-so thin as Barney and his friends sing 27 songs in only 56 minutes, so Barney is usually singing or introducing a new song. For anyone who has been watching the decade that Barney has been on the airwaves, most of the songs are Barney standards: "Mr. Sun," "The Airplane Song," "Baby Bop Hop," and "I Love You." They are mixed in with all-time favorites "Itsy Bitsy Spider," "A Camping We Will Go," and the like. Many of Barney's original kid friends return looking much older and wiser. No big landmark production here, just a "greatest hits" of Barney tunes that should have fans singing and dancing around the tube for nearly an hour. --Doug Thomas

My 15 month old grandson LOVES this video. I'm a little tired to listening to it but he would watch it all day if we'd let him. Excellent for singing & dancing along
I bought this DVD for my 3-year old, and he immediately loved it. He can watch it for more than 30 minutes, and will try to dance along with Barney. I definitely recommend it! Child Loves It!
My 2 year old son loves this video! I bought it for his birthday. We have watched it 3 times today. He sits quietly and watches the whole dvd through. He will at times tap his foot to the music. It really is adorable. In the past we haven't found anything he really enjoyed except Spongebob Squarepants. He loves Barney by far. BUY THIS DVD! You will not regret it. I should know, I think I've gotten them all through Netflix at some point. This is my 20 month old son's very fave. There is no filler, they basically jump from one song to the next so even a child with zero attention span like mine won't get bored. The production value is high and all the songs are so cute! Defnitely worth adding to your library.
If your child is a Barney freak, also try searching for Sing Along with Barney, which is a CD personalized to many children's names. For example if your child's name is Michael, Barney will put the word Michael over 80 times in the songs within the CD. They have a lot of names out there. SO CUTE! Good for Toddlers
My 20 month old loves this movie. She begs to watch it before she goes to bed. It is one of her favorites. The songs are very engaging.  |
