Reviews:
Seal "Best: 1991-2004" CD This is the Double CD that includes the acoustic version also. This is the best Seal CD(s) I've ever heard. I can't stop listening to it. There is so many different songs on it that I can relate to. Some songs make you feel happy, some songs make you sad, but I think there is something on one of the CD's that anyone can relate to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Excellent Music I have been a fan of Seal's music since I first heard "Crazy" back in 1991. I own every album he has recorded. This one is especially good. The first disc offers some familiar tunes. However, the second disc is what makes this one worth your money.
Seal converted some of his best songs into acoustic form masterfully. He actually sings "Kiss from a Rose" an octave lower than the original giving it a nice twist. However, "Colour" is my favorite song on the acoustic disc. I can not explain it, but that song just pulls me in for some reason.
If you are fan of Seal you will love this compilation. If you are new to his music and appreciate originality, musicianship, and true vocal quality you will not be disappointed.
Excellent Value This 2-disc CD from Seal is wonderful. I love having the choice between orchestrated and acoustic selections. I didn't know too much about Seal until I heard his Kiss From a Rose song. I was hooked. I bought the CD and suprise, I recognized every song on it! I just never knew who performed them until I bought the CD. If you're a Seal fan, you need this CD. Good inspirational listening If you like Seal's music, this is a definite "must have." I purchased it, because I didn't want all of his individual albums, yet wanted to be able to listen to his greatest hits and follow along. It's one of those CDs you pop in the car when you've had a stressful day, and after listening to a few songs, you are reenergized, revitalized, and uplifted. Golden Collection This is a great collection of his greatest hits. I have found that I enjoy listening to this album all the time. I hope you enjoy it like I do. |
