Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] As a prelude to the band's upcoming release, "stripped" offers fans a glimpse at another side of Four Star Mary's intense and deeply melodic music. Laying bare singer Tad Looney's voice, "stripped" is an intimate departure for the guitar-oriented group. Featuring acoustic versions of two songs which will be appearing on the bands next release, "Too Far Gone" and "Strangled," this enhanced CD also contains 5 video files which can be played on a home computer. Video tracks include footage from the live recordings, a full-production video for "Dilate" as seen on national TV, and an interview with Tad, Zu and Steve.

Reviews:
Very cool Live Footage I just got the disk and I thought I have seen it all when I stuck it into my computer and was surprized to find such good video footage.I would have liked to been at the club they shot this in as it seemed to have such a cozy and warm feel that added to the cool FSM songs that I never expected to get as an acoustic show live.Great songs for the fan who has to have it all with cool video and a toned down set with a cute doggy for the interview. New songs, great energy The new stuff is really, really good. I heard them play live in LA, which illuminated the songs on the new album. The band has incredible energy. You tell that their hearts are in both the music AND the lyrics. This new album seems to have a lot of inspiration from their travels abroad, as well as the success and different nifty things that have happened to them the past year. I can't pick a favorite just yet, because I'm torn between four different choices! Maybe I'll rewrite my review when I've had the CD a little longer. *g* The thing I'm enjoying most about the new stuff is that it doesn't all sound the same. That's the thing I hate the most when I buy a new CD, but "Stripped" has great variety and versatility. |
