Stylish item but the quality could be better.
Cherry Darling was one of my favorite characters from Grindhouse, so getting this keychain was a no-brainer for me. NECA are very well known for their quality movie products and while this is a very nice looking product, I quickly found that it wasn't of the quality I expected. Keeping in mind that this is just a keychain selling for under 10 bucks, I can't get too critical on it - At the same time though, I think some of these complaints are worth bringing up. First note - the image used on Amazon seems to be a computer render. The actual keychain is not silver/black but silver/silver. The character outline (black part on the Amazon image) is raised just above the background (Silver part on the Amazon image). The reverse side only contains the PLANET TERROR logo and copyright information. The product feels well made when held in your hand - I quickly noticed that "in use" it isn't quite as nicely made as it seems. One complaint is in the material - just by using it normally, the metal has changed colors to a "dirty look" within a matter of days - no luck with cleaning it off either. My next complaint was that when used with keys, it makes a very cheap sounding noise as they come into contact with one another. Sort of like a "windchime" or tin-can sound. My final complaint is in the form of the keyring. Within the first week, 2 chains broke and sent everything down to the ground (each broke at different times). I've since used my own keyring on this keychain and havent had any problems. Overall, a nice looking item - I just wish the quality were a bit better. It is an inexpensive item, but I would've gladly paid a couple bucks more for a higher quality build on it. [UPDATE: It's been a few weeks and unfortunately the little ring that connects the keychain to the actual chain has broken rendering it useless :( ]
