An EXCELLENT Rock work... But the "ENHANCED" CD version REALLY SUCKS...!!!!
I don't understand why these weird "geniuses" at Sony/Columbia issued this series of "ENHANCED" CDs. I have had lot of problems playing this album and other similars, in older CD players (Home/portable/car). This "Infinity" is a real milestone of American Rock music... But in this "ENHANCED" version, it SIMPLY SUCKS!!!! If possible, try to get an older European issue (Italy, Germany or U.K.). Same sound quality, no playing problems at all!!!!

One Of The Best
This is an awesome album. Journey puts it all together and comes out with Infinity one of their best albums to date. Every song on here is great. But my favoites have to be "Lights", "Can Do", "Faithfully", "LA DO DA", "Wheel In The Sky", and "Patiently". All of the other songs on this album are great too. I mean "Lights" is my favorite Journey song and that one song alone is without a doubt what makes this whole album worth buying. This is a great collection of music by one of the greatest bands of all-time. I highly recommend it to anyone. Buy It Today!

Journey puts it all together and creates a masterpiece...
"Infinity" is just an amazing cd and should be considered as one of the most consistent and ground breaking cd's of the seventies. With vocalist Steve Perry joining the already talented yet unfocused Journey fold all of the elements were now in place to create this breath taking effort. Perry has to be one of the best vocalists of all time with his powerful and distinct singing style. Schoen, Rolie, Valory, and Dunsbar really gel on this cd and have created an amazingly tight output behind Perry. Throw in excellent songs and a great song flow and we are blessed with a timeless piece of musical history. Journey would go into more of a pop/rock direction on their follow-up effort "Evolution" which wasn't necessarily a bad thing but "Infinity" has all of the elements necessary to be considered a classic cd.

This is where Journey starts to gell as a band, The rich Voice of Steve Perry that lets you soar with him when he sings. and the Rockin music of Caine,and the other founding member just bring home the performace.

Journey is AWSOME!!
This is the fourth Journey album, but it was the first with Steve Perry. This album was released in 1979. It has two of Journey's biggest hits through all the years, Lights and Wheel in the Sky. It also has many other great songs like, Feelin' that way, la do da, opened the door, and alot others. On a few of the songs,Journey's piano player, Gregg Rolie, sings. I really think you should get this album, it has ten AWSOME songs! I also recomend,Escape, Genreations(With singer Steve Augeri) ,Arrival(With S.A.) and all the other Journey albums.
