Reviews:
Best Shenandoah This arrangement of the melody is the best and will stick with you for years. Only one good song on it, but boy is it good. I bought this cd solely because it had the song 'Shenendoah'. They have the best rendition I have ever heard, however, the other songs are much less than extraordinary. Beautiful Musica This CD is the essence of choral music, beautiful music, beautifully sung. Of special note are the haunting soprano solos, and the compositions of conductor John Alexander (Musica) and James Hopkins (Come to Me in the Silence of the Night). Musica can be listened to intently, but the gentleness of the selections can also be enjoyed for quiet times, and maybe even as a lullaby. |
