Not as good without the Eagles
I love Timothy's voice but was disappointed in this CD. Not sure if it was the songs he picked or that he is not as good as solo artist.

Ned's opinion
I heard "One More Mile" on the radio while driving and the guitar sounds sent shivers down my spine! I had to get the album as soon as possible. All the other tracks sounded very good on preview, but I would have bought the album just for track one! At home with the full sound, "One More Mile" is superb and there is great variety in the other tracks. All of them are very easy listening. Timothy B. Schmit's voice is unique, even when he's not singing falsetto! His guitar-playing is amazing, he's a real virtuoso. Any Eagles fan who appreciates good guitar, will love this album.

My daughter-in-law ordered this for Christmas and when she opened it, the rest of the crowd clapped and shouted joy for her receiving it. I was happy with the quick service to get it here.

Timothy B. Schmit is a great musician in his own right apart from The Eagles. In my opinion he has the best singing voice of the group and he proves that every time he goes out on his own.

soaring above the eagles
As one who has rooted for 'Timmy' since Poco, I want to say I find this album to be, by far, his best solo effort. TBS's often preternatural angelic vocals, the rootsy havin' a good time feel, and some uniquely poignant perspectives about love conjure up a little of that refreshing, big-ol-grin, toe-tapping, Poco spirit. "Friday Night" is one hell of a song. "Parachute" is stunning. The lyrics of "I Don't Mind" are brilliant and as far as I'm concerned the entire album is a five star winner! It has me wonderin' what a truly rootsy down-home effort by the Eagles might be like. I think the rest of the boys would be wise to huddle up with TBS and follow his lead because, at least in my book, this music outshines the Eagles as a whole.
