Reviews:
Good but not enough showcasing of Neal Schon I'll cut to the chase here. Cuts 5, 6, 7 and 8 are where Neal is featured. For being 15 or 16 years old at the time, he was fantastic! No wonder Clapton and Santana were trying to get him to join their bands. His solos are excellent and were better than most other guitarists around that era. In other words his solos put him in the same bracket as Carlos, Eric, Duane, Dickie Betts, Peter Green, Kim Simmonds, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Although, you truly have to be a Neal Schon fan to buy this one. The other music was basically played with not true intentions of being released. |
