MELBA MOORE DOESN'T SOUND LIKE HERSELF
I'm a big Phil Perry fan and I still have Melba Moore albums from her heyday. Phil was fine, but Melba was either very low key her she has lost the booming voice that made her. I wasn't happy with the collaboration.

Wonderful conversation piece, great ol school
When I heard that my Favorite male and female singer were teaming up, I got on the waiting list. This CD is not what I expected,its better, Its feel good music that has been redone in ways that make you forget how previous versions were done.Melba & Phil have distinctive voices and this is music to have a dinner party with. Its grown folks music!! You will like it. Check out Phils current cd as well"ready for love". That cd is wonderful!!!Melba`s previous work like "soul exposed" or her dvd is also worth a great buy.

I LOVE this CD! It's good to hear that wonderful voice again. Nice blend of some old favorites done in an updated style.
