Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] The two singles "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" and "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm...." certainly do the trick. They are powerful dance-pop tracks with a serious hip-hop trunk deep enough to support (almost) the rest of the album, which is a bit of a motivational cool-down. The singles will pack the dance floor, and although the rest of the tracks won't clear it entirely, this album does prove to be unbalanced in the get-up-on-your-feet department. --Beth Bessmer

Reviews:
CC Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat Great upbeat CD. Makes you want to move. The whole CD is great! old school dance music great dance music! the beats never go out of date. good way to keep in shape, if you can keep in step! rv The strength of one C+C is sadly remembered as a one hit wonder. However their seminal "Gonna make you sweat" is an incredibly stirring song and one that everyone should own. The most overlooked song of theirs is "Things that make you go Hmmm", this is another phenomenal song that most groups today couldn't do right if their lives depended on it. C+C was an awesome group. Classic Jam I danced to this CD 10 years ago. It rocked every party i went to. It still does. This is a great buy! This is the kind of beat new tunes are made from. I love it Groovy this CD blends hip-hop, dance and rock sounds. It's good music. It comes from the age of Prince and MC Hammmer, and it's really too bad that they didn't continue to make music. Things that make you go Hmmm, and Gonna Make you Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) are great club songs. It seems that their style of music was merely a passing fad, and why they died off after this album. All of the songs are good. Collaborations by Freedom Williams and other members show that they're very talented artists. It's original, edgy and as good today as it was then. |
