Reviews:

Pretty funny
The videos are oftimes humorous, but not in a good way. You're more likely to laugh at the band than with them. Unfortunately the bands pretentions/intentions just couldn't be fullfilled with the miniscule budget they had. Which was probably 500 dollars tops and it shows. There is quite a bit of variety, though most (not all) of the videos are pretty goofy. Kool Thing with it's cameo by Chuck D is pretty good and one of the exceptions. But the video for Tunic is especially wierd, silly and amateurish, not to mention the video where each member of the band runs across the screen holding a giant letter that spells "Sonic". It's really, really funny. The music is great however. Musical masters, but visually challenged. This is more novelty than art. Goofy and amateurish.

Meh.
I was expecting a lot more from the videos from Goo. There are a few good ones such as Dirty Boots and Kool Thing, but the rest are nothing more than bland lo-fi recordings of the members of Sonic Youth.

Awesome video album!
This Sonic Youth video album contains excellent source of video cuts off the entire LP. Dirty Boots is a great video and has been banned on MTV. Kool Thing, Titanium Expose, My Friend Goo and a bunch of others are great videos. A lot of the videos on this tape were never aired on MTV, muchmusic or anywhere else! This is the first ever Sonic Youth long form music video release. You will not be disappointed! It would be really nice if this video is reissued on DVD.
