Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Explicit Version. 'We always thought 'Bartender Song (Sittin' At A Bar)' was a hit song, but our old label didn't agree and was not interested in pushing it. So we decided to re-record it with better sounds and give it to Universal Republic because they believed in us. It's truly a unique situation when a band has to cover their own song to make it work.' per Danny Boone -founder of Rehab. 'Whether your listeners have been playing this one in their local dive for the last several years or they're new to the song, Rehab's 'Sittin' At A Bar' will strike an immediate chord and will set the phones on fire faster than a bartender can light a pyramid of Flaming Dr. Peppers...' Reviews:
Better than expected I was really only expecting to like the Bartender Song but I was surprised by how many good songs are on this CD. It reminds me of 80's music for some reason and that's why I love it. Underated... but why the re-release? I liked this album the first time around, I just don't understand the re-release. If you are new to Rehab this is a good album but CUZWECAN (only avail through their website) and Southern Discomfort are better, Bartender Song isn't new.
I'd buy it again. Love It!!!! Haven't been compelled to review something before but I love this album. I bought it this morning after hearing them live on a local radio station. I'm 30-something, so I've been listening to music for a while. This is the first album I have bought in a LONG time on which I like every song. It's sort of a combo of Kid Rock and Blessid Union of Souls ... interesting combination but it works in a serious way. I bought it on a whim and I am so glad I did. Give it a listen! Only one good song If you are buying this CD for the bartender song that is all you are going to get, the rest of the cd is no good. REHAB - A HIT I ordered this CD because I listened to the sample of the "Bartender Song" and liked it. When I received the CD and ran through all of the tracks I discovered a group that is very diverse. There is quite a mixture of Rock and Hip-Hop. The only reason I couldn't give it a 5 star rating, there are a few songs that just aren't relevant to me in particular. Listen to all of the sample tracks if you think you might like the CD order it, once you can run through the whole CD I don't think you will be disappointed.
