A Must Have for Mp3 player
Maysa really shines through on Metamorphosis. Overall it's a feel good grown music. Please don't sleep on Maysa. She definitely brings her unique scatting, harmonies, and all that on this cd. Well worth the money and then some.

I love this CD, Let's figure it out, Higher love, and happy Feeling( she hits some high notes on that song) I want her to be my wife! Just sing to me every night, and would give her whatever she wants. (Sorry Janet J. you lost your mind, and I have moved on to a real singer)

Best Soul Voice singing today
Maysa is incomparable. this album is a work of art. "Lets Figure It Out" is my favorite as its both jazzy and she scats like she invented that style of singing. She's a great and underrated song writer...one of my records of the year.

Amazing Vocal Talent , this CD will put a smile on the face of any true music fan !
Many of you will be familiar with Maysa from her HITS with the Acid Jazz band "incognito", and she has again put together a really nice project. This CD has a mix of R&B tunes, Smooth Jazz, and Soft Mid Temp Ballads. Maysa's voice is very unique and unmistakeable, and the variety of songs on ths CD really show you just how versatile of a vocalist she is. Stand outs for me are "Never Really Ever", which has a really nice R&B vibe and hook, and gets your head bopping from the first note. Also, "Simpatico", which is more of a smooth jazz /latin flavored up beat track. Another fave is "Walk Away", which is a nice slow/mid tempo ballad that was written by Ledisi. If you are a fan of Incognito or Maysa, you need to get this CD. IF you have never heard of Maysa before, take a listen and hear a true artist at work.
