Reviews:

One of the great debut albums EVER!
I have been waiting over 20 years for this! I had the "Carlene Carter" album in 1978 and fell in love with it. The song "Who Needs Words" is one of the most beautiful and haunting records I've ever heard; I've played it at least 200 times. I even retained the old vinyl just in case someone could make a cassette of it one day, but it never happened. That song, and "I Once Knew Love", have remained in my memory THAT LONG! So I'm so anxious to get this CD reissue I can barely stand it! I never had the "Blue Nun" album so I can't speak to that, but "Carlene Carter" and "Two Sides to Every Woman", also now available as a 2-Fer, are worth the investment all by themselves. THANK YOU, Wounded Bird for this wonderful gift!
