there's no place like home
there is a scene in Kindergarten where a train full of
desparate refugees is bombed from the air with high
explosives. A cute little girl, who is at that point in the story
the love interest, disappears completely -- she was standing
on an open platform when the bombs fell, waving at the
airplanes which she mistook for friendlies -- her shoes
remained on the platform as the rest of her was blown to bits.  |
