fun addition to xmas music collection
Good album with up-tempo versions of Christmas songs - Angels We Have Heard on High and 12 Days of Christmas are especially good. Harmonies on the acapella version of Auld Lang Syne are surprisingly good (with spoken "message from the band" interrupting what would have been a standout track).
Relient K Christmas CD
I got exactly what I ordered and it arrived before Christmas. Excellent! But there was a crack in the case on the back of the CD and there was no time to exchange it before Christmas :/
Upbeat, yet still in the spirit
This is a Christmas cd for the young and young at heart. Most tracks are Christmas standards done in contemporary fashion, often revved up to near top speed but they have also mixed in some original songs that are slower and more introspective. The level of musicianship is excellent and even the standards were arranged by the band. My entire family really enjoys this disc - it got played repeatedly this year because there was always someone who wanted to hear it again.
A Rockin Christmas Album
I have thouroughly enjoyed this album. It has old standards, songs that really celebrate everything that this season is about. I also enjoy that this album takes the music to a whole new level.
It is everything I could want from a punk inspired Christmas!
The best album for Rocking out at Christmas
Even if you don't know Relient K, this is an album strictly for great rock version of Christmas songs. If you like rock, appreciate Christmas, then this album is for you.
