Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Formally attired and seductively positioned, Yanni gazes out at you from the cover of this 1993 recording and--no description needed--tells you everything you need to know about the music that awaits inside. Here are a few additional details: In My Time is a 49-minute album of piano-based works with a distinct neoclassical flavor that is targeted specifically to Yanni's large and faithful female following. Its highlights: the shimmering tenderness of "In the Morning Light" and the gently caressing "To Take ... To Hold." Perhaps because this was his last album for Private Music, he elected to fill it in with two repeats from Dare to Dream, "Felitsa" and "In the Mirror." --Terry Wood

Reviews:
love this album I love this album. When I first heard of Yanni I got excited, and went out and purchased my first CD of his. "Live at the Acropolis". I fell in love. I had to get more. So I purchased this one. I loved it! I like to take it to the beach whenever we go. It has that beach feeling. You know what I mean? You can listen to his music, while you're on the beach, watching the waves. I love this album. I love Yanni. cedar cove christmas Love the book & the service was great the book got here really fast after the order was submitted-Thanks --a 5 star to all. Best of the Best I would say, "The Best" Yanni Album Ever!! If Live at the Acropolis was a masterpiece, this is something like... I don't know what to say. Its just awesome. Each Song. Each Song is better than the previous and I could just listen to it every day and still want more.
If you are a Yanni fan, Just go for it, you'll never regret. Inspired I have played this CD more than any other. I am always in awe. It occurs that infrequently, inspiration just rains down on some one. I think of this collection in that way. I play a lot of bluegrass, old rock and even bagpipe music but for a nice background sound I think it doesn't get better than this. It is not just beautiful music; it is a priceless panacea for your soul. I am not a zealous Yanni fan and I do not write reviews very often. I, however, feel the urge to write something about this CD. Yes, it is beautiful and heart-touching as many other reviewers have already testified. Moreover, this CD is beyond relaxation music. It not only soothes your soul; it also elevates your spirit and enhances your physical well-being. I feel this CD, especially its two tracks One man dream and Felitsa, somehow works very well with water activities, be it swimming or spa. After vigorous swimming laps or hot spas, I turn on this CD and let the music take me into sound sleep and beautiful dreams. When I wake up, I feel fully charged and ready for anything. Even my eyesight gets sharpened. I look out to my garden and I see lush green, radiating red, vibrating yellow that I somehow usually miss. And my kids, my wife, my neighbors look more beautiful and happier than ever. |
