I've been a fan a long time, before the Cheeseburgers and Margaritaville songs. The dvd is almost the same as being at the concert. Briefly, buy it, and watch it again and again and show the kids.. Jimmy needs to do a dvd for every years concerts.

This is what a concert should be
Although I have never seen Jimmy in person, due to living on the far side of the world, I have long been a fan of his music. I don't think anyone would admit that Jimmy has the best voice put upon this earth, but I don't think Jimmy would admit to this either. His songs have always either come from the heart and / or put you in one of his cool locations that we would all like to be in. When you see what happens in the concert arena (Wrigley Field in this instance - the best use of the venue since the first "Blues Brothers" movie, outside of baseball) you know that the whole band are enjoying the whole experience as much as the audience. It's one big party for everyone and, from the glimpses of the audience prior to going in to the show through to the final number, that is what you get. In all honesty, how many concerts do you go to where the whole band actually look as though they are enjoying what they do, and you get taken along for the ride? The concert itself is a good mix of hits and new numbers, with the addition of also being a fundraiser for Jimmy's beloved New Orleans following hurricane "Katrina". For any fan of the man, I can't recommend this highly enough. Put your feet up, grab a favourite beverage and sit back and enjoy the experience. The only thing better than this is if Jimmy can tour his show down here in New Zealand.

Just like being there!
This is absolutely the best video I have seen in a long, long time. If you're a parrothead it is a must have for your collection. Made me smile and sing along the whole time! Jimmy Buffet is absolutely adorable!

phoned it in
I am not a parrot head, but do like buffet's music and have heard good things about his live performances. This video is almost unwatchable. He does not seem to be making any effort to make good music. He should watch a springsteen concert to see someone that does care.
