Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Buck Howdy saddles up for another fun corral full of cowboy tunes for the whole family. His newest release, GIDDYUP!, features an engaging mix of Western and bluegrass style tunes. The new CD features 7 original Buck Howdy songs, and 7 other tracks appealing to kids of all ages. Guest stars Trout Fishing in America and Laurie Berkner join for three of the sing-alongs. Buck Howdy songs are sure to have everybody rootin’ and tootin’ around the campfire, dinner table, or even on those long holiday road trips. Like his first family CD, Skidaddle!, Giddyup! features Buck’s warm vocals, laid over some of the best cowboy music around. XM Satellite Radio calls him “The next Roy Rogers,” and his music stands firmly in the great American tradition so well trail-blazed by Roy, Gene Autry and Tex Ritter. Buck’s songs invite listeners to gallop along with cowboys traversing the Old West: “Ride, Cowboy Ride,” “Pecos Bill,” and “Happy Trails.” Some of the songs evoke the joys of the great outdoors, like “Hayride.” At least one tune pokes fun at the downside of nature – “My Favorite Kind of Bugs.” By the last track, listeners will want to replay these tunes all over again.

Reviews:
I love it I'm a kid at heart and when I first heard Buck Howdy I knew that my kids would love him as well. I was right. Buck Howdy Rocks!!! Buck Howdy is the only CD I have ever bought my kids that I havn't wanted to run through the paper shredder after a few days. The music is fantastic, wholsome, and 100% bearable What a Guy! We first discovered Buck Howdy when he played a benifit concert at my children's school last year. He donated his time as a fund raiser for our school. My kids and I had a blast listening and danceing to his music. We purchased his CD's that night. My kids (ages 8, 6 and 3) continue to love listening to his music. We were lucky enough to have him back last week and I made sure to tell my neighbors. They came and loved his music as much as we do. Thank you Buck for your generosity. We love Buck Howdy We discovered Buck Howdy when we borrowed a CD at the library. It was so entertaining we had to own his albums. My sons (5 & 7 years old) particularly enjoy "Buffalo Bob," about a cowboy's flatulence problems which result from a diet consisting only of beans. It's very silly, and a tiny bit rude, which makes it even more fun. His lyrics are amusing, clever, and easy on adult ears. From his fiirst album we like "Buckaroo," which gives advice on what to do if you want to be a cowboy ("Can't wear a suit with a railroad tie, can't honk a saddle horn and make it toot"). We hope he comes East for some concerts! Texans Love Buck Howdy Great lyrics and vocals. You will never get tired of this CD playing over and over again. |
