Reviews:
Good CD I wasn't familiar with Eleven Hundred Springs until about a month ago (although they've been around a while - guess I'm just out of touch!). Anyway, I saw them open up a show for Dale Watson in Kansas City and they gained a new fan. I bought this CD at the show, as well as 'A Straighter Line' and 'Welcome to Eleven Hundred Springs." I enjoy listening to all three, but this is my favorite of the bunch. Good songwriting and good musicians. And go see these guys live if you get the chance. real country music wow... what a fantastic country album... they do it again.. i really like the cd "bandwagon" but this is so much better in many ways.... great musicians.. great songs... i think the highligt of the album is "i never crossed your mind" a waylon flavored song.. it really blew me away!! i think waylon is dancin` around in heaven.... all in all.. a great traditionel country album... fantastic sound, and a great voice.. please make some more like this...... |
