Reviews:
Solid B-side record There are few, if any, bands anymore that were as good as Zebrahead. I say were not because they've broken up, but because the original lead singer justin left last year and with him went the ZH sound. ANYWAY, if you were as big a fan of MFZB as I was, Waste Of MFZB has no business not being in your collection. It's got 9, original and solid b-side recordings that could have easily found their way onto mfzb, along with a kick arse cover of the spice girls wannabe (trust me, it's goooood!). At just under 30 minutes in length, my main compliant about Waste Of Mfzb is that it's too short. A couple more quality b-sides would have rounded this one out nicely. If you can find it for less than 15 bucks (good luck), get it ASAP. Otherwise, save you dough and grab it when you can. Zebrahead is this generation's most prolific punk/rapcore band, and they deserve a purchase of their last good record. Sub par The songs contained on this CD are all Zebrahead's B-sides from their MFZB album, and for good reason. All the songs are sub-par for this band who, in my opinion, consistently writes and performs great music. I ordered this album from Zebrahead's website where I found it cheaper than anywhere else and, although I'm glad to own it as there are a few good songs on it, I would not recommend it to anyone who isn't already a big Zebrahead fan. My ideal rating would be a 2 1/2 stars rather than 3 full stars, but half stars are not an option when rating Amazon albums.
AMAZON.... Allow half star ratings! People have been bugging about it for years!
In my opinion, the best songs here are:
1 Are You For Real
4 Burn The School Down
10 Wannabe (Spice Girls cover)
Anyways, don't bother buying this unless you are an extremely big fan of the band. Save your money for their next full length release. B-sider Yer buy it on the bands site...coz it helps them out. oh and keep in mind if this sounds a little different to other records...it is because it is a b-sides cd....IE all the stuff that didnt make it onto the last record...for some reason.
....Zebrahead rulez...!! it rules! Yes it does. But don't buy it here. Go to zebrahead's site and it's half the price and you get a cd single with it. |
