Reviews:
Better Edited
I have heard the edited version of this disc... and it is AWESOME! I have heard one of Kid's un-edited "Cocky" songs and... strangely.... the edited is better? It is true! The swearing is "masked" with SFX (disc scratches, mostly) and they make the album sound better... much better.
Anyway, here is a song-by-song review:
1) Trucker Anthem - 4/5 Stars - This song is a good warm-up song which gets the listener warmed up (especially if this is your first Kid Rock album, like myself) to Kid Rock's style and attitude. This song is best listened to in the dark ^_^.
2) Forever - 4/5 - This is the second Kid Rock song I've ever heard (the first being "Only God Knows Why") and it impressed me big-time. This song is more punk rock then quite a few of the other albums on this CD, and it will always be a favorite of mine.
3) Lay It On Me - 3/5 - This song has a nice beat that could almost replace "Trucker Anthem" as a warm-up song... almost.
4) Cocky - 4/5 - This song is more punk than the previous 3 songs and is the general themes of the first three songs mixed togehter.
5) What I Learned Out On The Road - 3/5 - This song is OK if you listen to it once, but gets tired after that.
6) I'm Wrong But You Ain't Right - 5/5 - This is the best song on the entire album and is punk rock at its best.
7) Lonely Road of Faith - 3.5/5 - Without the ending, this song would really suck.
More to come!

I think this is kid rocks best album as yet. There are certain songs that the kid really expresses and i think that he is singing some of the songs to himself. My favorite track would have to be lonley road of faith because he is singing that to all the fans.He has also made a big hit for sheryl crow with picture witch is also a fantastic melodey overall this is a fantastic album and his best one yet.
