Named after the thriving rap subgenre he popularized, Lil' Jon's Crunk Juice makes no claims to be anything but XXX-rated, hip-hop mosh pit music. Three 6 Mafia's crunked-out compositions may predate Lil' Jon's, but Jon's unique production methods continue to dazzle on cuts like...

Here's what Mixtape Messiah Chamillionaire needs you to know: He's no longer just a tough-talkin' dude from Texas with a kisser full of diamonds and an armload of music awards. He's also--and this is pretty radical for a rapper--an anti-materialist. So goes the theme of Ultimate ...

Reviews:

One Medicore CD, One Decent DVD (3 stars)
After winning the #1-song-played-to-the-ground award for "Get Low", Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz came up with the idea to remix the song...TWICE! Then drop an EP with a DVD of the music videos that they've made and call it Part II with unbalanced results. The CD is only seven tracks. As I said earlier, there are two remixes of "Get Low". One version has Elephant Man and Busta Rhymes as well as The Ying Tang Twins. The other is the "Merengue" remix featuring Pitbull. Elephant Man's voice is herd all throughout the song, making it unbearable, but Busta Rhymes saves it from being terrible. The "Merengue Remix" sounds like rejected opening song for a gameshow, and to top it off the fact that The Ying Yang Twins and Lil Jon try to rhyme to the salsa beat makes you laugh. Think of this song as pure entertainment and thats it. "Get Your Weight Up" and "Put Your Hood Up" are the two best songs that are on here. The latter would feature Jadakiss, Peety Pablo, Chyna White, and Roy Jones Jr., that gurantees to rock many clubs. "Throw It Up (Remix)" is better than the origonal because Young Buck makes an apparance, even through Pastor Troy's wack rhymes still inhabit. Chyna White gets her own song with the Ying Yang Twins on "What They Want". I'm used to hearing her make a guest appearances on Lil Jon songs (Bia Bia, Put Yo Hood Up remix), but hearing her voice can be unbarable and annoying especially on this track, not to mention the Ying Yang Twins don't make much help. Oobie has a nice voice to sing on some songs ("Ooh Naa Naa Na Na" for example), but the production behind "Dirty Dancing" just doesn't work and comes off skippable. Theres really nothing to knock about the DVD because it has almost every music video that has been shot, eventhough I have no care for some of them. The only song it doesn't have is the "Get Low (Remix)" for some of you people wanting to see it. Other than that you get to see the 'behind the scenes' work of their Kings Of Crunk projects. Ain't really anyting special. Overall this EP full of remixes and the DVD are mostly good for what it is. Most of the songs on the CD are pointless remixes, and unthoughtout songs, but the DVD would be the only thing that many people are looking for when buying this. If you own this, good for you, but if you don't I recommend that you wait until this hits the bargin bin at your music store. If you're a big Lil Jon fan or you just want to see the music videos, I recommend this for you. The album itself [2.5 stars] The DVD [3.5 Stars] Lyrics: C+ Production: C- Guest Appearances: C Musical Vibes: D+ Overall: C- Standout Tracks: Get Your Weight Up and Put Yo Hood Up

I enjoyed this alot
First let's get this straight... I am primarily a underground Hip Hop fan, and even though I hail from the south, I usually do not go into this uncharted territory First of all... I know for a fact that amazon's track listing is wrong. I do not know the right one, cause I do not have the CD case anymore. All the song's on this are ok, except the merengue mix of get low. The best track is the last one, which the name, despite what amazon called it is dirty dancing, and it is a very good song, with a R&B girl that can sing good. The second disc is tha ish too. The behind the scenes takes you thru Atlanta and other various places where where lil jon advertises his album, performs live while people fight in the audience, and even a strip club with some fine rump shaking, if I must say myself. He also tell's you the secret ingrediant's to crunk juice. The song I dont give a F*** has about the crunkest music video ive ever seen. Even though I hate the first minute of the song. It shows Jon & the eastside boyz driving in a lowrider up to the club, hopping out the ride, knocking out everyone in line, and rushing the security all while screaming out " I don't give a f*** n*gga! " This song is no classic. But it is good what it is made for, and that is why I gave it a 4/5, cause it is crunk as hell. If this wasnt a crunk album though I would have given it a 1/5. If you want lyrical album's go to GZA, or Immortal Technique, not here. ok? But im sure you already knew that. This is Hip Hop's answer to Metal, and Mosh Pit Music.

2003 i was on club music hard....but this did not stand out!!!!

Last Review I will write in a while
Allright if you know me from my reviews you probably know that this is the last review I will write in a while (At least until Jon's next album comes out) Track by track info (As Usual): 1. Get Low Regae Remix: 10/10 Exellent Remix. Same Bass, Same Chorus, but with difrent Lil Jon verse and features a verse from Elephant Man and one from Busta Rhymes. 2. Get Low Merengue Mix: 8/10 NOT bad but I seriously doubt this song can fit with a latin beat nicely. 3. Get Your Weight Up: 8/10 Good track with T.I and 8ball but a little pointless and the beat sounds a little familiar to me. 4. Throw it up Remix: 9/10 Same Song but Pastor Troy's outro was replaced with Young buck's verse. (And then Lil jon returned the favour by producing "Shorty wanna Ride" for him) 5. Put yo Hood Up Remix: 10/10 Pretty Crunk Everything is perfect. 6.What They Want: 8/10 Exellent Beat similar to the Youngbloodz' "Damn!" in overall a good track but a little stupid. 7. Dirty Dancin': 8/10 Yet another Oobie contribution to Jon's album. An OK track. DVD: All the videos are hot and the behind the scenes so watch it all.
