Motley Crue - Greatest Hits

Through lead-singer strife and domestic blisters, the Crüe have endured. Greatest Hits is a breather for the group and provides an opportunity to look back at the construction and destruction of this much-maligned multimillion-record-selling ensemble. Sure, much of what's here o...
The Best of Warrant
The Best of Warrant

Warrant is a schizophrenic band, a condition illustrated by this 16-song "hits" collection. The Los Angeles-based lineup's 1989 debut, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, featured such metal-lite delights as "32 Pennies," the title track, the insipid, self-referential trademark hi...

Poison's Greatest Hits 1986-1996

Pop pundits might contend that a Poison greatest-hits collection should be an EP. Yet despite jeers from critics, these glam-metal pretty boys produced big hits, filled arenas, and fueled MTV in the late '80s. And the opening track on this 18-cut compilation sets the record strai...

Reviews:

Best "Best Of" Ever assembled!
All the twisted greats are here plus awesome live tunes, this collectionb is very well put together! Play it loud mutha!

Great CD! Awesome Tunes late 80's Band!
This music is really great if you are an 80's and 90's hair band lover! Great Tunes!!

mixed feelings
I'm giving this album a somewhat decent rating because at least the short studio songs are catchy. Sure, the band is nothing more than an updated and more disgusting version of KISS, but credit needs to be given to the band for at LEAST having some decent anthem-rock songs. Everybody knows "We're Not Gonna Take It". I even heard this song on some commercial recently advertising female problems. "I Wanna Rock" is definitely the catchiest song on the disc. "ROCK rock ROCK rock". Yeah, you know it. "I Am (I'm Me)" is the perfect song for an angry teenager to play over and over in his bedroom as he sits there in the dark thinking about how much the world hates him. "The Price" is sort of depressing, only that, we're talking about an 80's hair metal band attempting to say something important. "You Can't Stop Rock and Roll" is pretty awesome. After this song, the rest of the studio tracks sort of blend together, though I won't deny how catchy most of them are. The live tracks are, unfortunately, really awful. Just a terrible live band. I was never a fan of the Rolling Stones classic "It's Only Rock 'n Roll" anyway, but hearing Twisted Sister attempt this song in a live settting with an overbearingly long build-up consisting mostly of a bunch of swear words that mean absolutely nothing to anyone other than those who happened to be attending the concert is, well, really freakin' bad. Stick with the studio tracks. Those songs rule.

Very Pleased
I would buy from here again, my Cd came perfectly and on time. Thanks Very much.

Blast from the past
This is a great collection of Twisted Sister. I definitely would recommend this to any fan of Twisted Sister. You can't find this type of good rock n' roll anymore!
