Reviews:
I'm Easy The only bad thing about this CD is that, as a double-album, it is too long for me to listen to all the songs included during my daily commute. One of my favorite things is the interview which is printed on the insert, where Keith talks about what influenced his writing and lists his favorites. He mentions being terrified while performing "I'm Easy" on the Academy Awards show in 1976, and I remember watching that night and thinking that he did look terrified, but being pleased that his song won. He also noted that he prefers the version of "I'm Easy" on the "Nashville" soundtrack, and I agree and recommend ordering both. The best thing about the CD is, of course, Keith's wonderful voice. Much as I enjoy his acting as well, I wish he'd done more albums. I find his writing style and expressions are similar to my own, and thoroughly enjoy this CD. What's the big deal? Who cares if the liner notes are wrong. Does it really matter?
What's important is that all the songs on both of Keith's albums are on this CD,including "I'm Easy", and that the recordings are very clean. FYI, my liner notes just happened to be correct. Even if it wasn't, big deal! The track list is wrong Tracks 1 to 9 are wrong ! I bought the CD and confirm that "I'm easy" is the 4th. one. I'm confused.... Is this the right track listing for this CD?? Wrong Track Listing I couldn't believe it when I first saw that I'm Easy is not in the listing. Impossible. Now I own the CD. Your listing is wrong. For that, I still give it just 1 star, but actually it is a 5-star CD. I have been waiting for I'm Easy on CD. Get yourself a copy too! |
