Reviews:
Listen to it again When I first heard this album, I was thinking...um, no. But I listened to it a few times more (being a fan) and discovered its greatness. Now, not every track is great, but those that are make up for the others. I found it has a really great retro-80's sound that I hear others trying to produce, but didn't hit the mark like this one did. A good entry in the canon Felix is always creative and looking for new ways to put a twist on things. He likes these concept albums where he is telling a story from a character's point of view and this one is no different. I like Devin Dazzle better, but this is a good album as well. A few songs lag in my opinion, but I'd say 70% of the tracks hit really nicely good beats, imaginative vocals and themes. Plus "Like Something 4 Porno" is just a freaking good time as a song What? I've been reading good reviews of this album everywhere, and I cannot understand why. When I heard this album I thought it was a joke at first. Surely this wasn't the same guy who had released those other 2 great albums. It sounds like a very lazy attempt by Felix, and I was extremely disappointed. the best this cd is insane. the best by dahousecat yet.Virgo Blaktro & the Movie Disco |
