Prodcut Description: [More Information ...] Explicit Version. The Re-Up Gang is a Hip Hop group, best known for their signature We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series. The Clipse Presents: The Re-Up Gang features nine brand new songs and three unreleased remixes from We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. III. Rapper Pusha T said:"Everything happens for a reason. We put out the We Got It 4 Cheap series on our own for the streets and that helped keep us visible and build the Re-Up name as an entity...this time, our manager Tony Draper got with Koch General Manager, Alan Grunblatt, to put together an official album with new music and let Koch Records do what they do best. This release gives us something fresh in the marketplace to reward Re-Up fans while we continue to work on the Clipse album." The Re-Up Gang was created in early 2004, during Clipse's long hiatus between their first and second albums.

Reviews:
drop another bomb well poeple the clipse have dropped a gem on us again, time after time they keep on droppin bangers, anyone that listens to the clipse, will surely like this album,at the moment i cant get enuff of the clipse, ive got like 7 cds of there in my car and thats all ive been listenin to,out of the whole album, the only thing negative thing i can think of,would be the lack of change in the subject matter, the clipse once again tell of drug dealing tales, making tons of cash, girls, cars, clothes!however, some how the clipse manage to put it all together in a manner witch pumps life back into the old subject matter!for me i love hearing about the days of old witch the clipse bring to the front lines everytime, well done..also keep you ear out for the clipse next album.... Rehash of Volume 3. Not a bad thing. For 10 bucks you can't go wrong. There's a few new tracks on here but it's mostly a rehash of Volume 3 over some RIDICULOUS beats.
"yes i said gang, all else is faux pas" Good but not great! There were a few bad choices for beats here but in my opinion it was time for them to rap over something other than a Neptunes beat. They sound better than ever lyrically & Sandman is a fresh new addish to the clipse formula because of his personality on tracks, but Ab-liva is the straight spitter of the crew. The Clipse, Ab-Liva & Sandman are at they're best when the mood is somber and/or dark and there are alot of those tracks on this album. Even their party tracks sound dark but well thought out & written. This is a pretty good first venture w/o Pharrel. But since they're not under the Neptunes wings anymore alot of people have been down on the clipse. But I'm here to tell you they're here to stay. Alright but nothing special!!!! When the first clipse album came out it was a classic and something I listened to all the time and still do to this day. When they started releasing other albums I could tell they are just putting out anything for money. This Re Up Gang album I would have to say have maybe 3 or 4 good songs on the whole album but the rest is trash.I would not recommend anyone buy this album just mainly because its a waste of money. THE TRUTH COREY IS SMOKIN' CRACK, THE CLIPSE IS THE TRUTH. THANK GOD THESE NIGGAS DROPPED. NOW THE WORLD GOT SOME REAL MUSIC TO LISTEN TO. |
