So Satisfied!
I must admit that I am a little biased in my treatment of Kevon's music as a long time After 7 fan, but this album delivers. The title cut 'Who Knew' sets the mood and draws the listener in to wanting more. It is so refreshing to hear an album that I can listen to from beginning to end without wanting to skip a song or five. THANK YOU, KEVON for coming back and giving R&B fans something to listen to!

Ohhhhhh!
How I wish there were more songs similar to "Oh" on this CD. Kevon really delivers on this track. The other songs on the CD are pretty average esp. for someone with an incredible voice like Kevon. The biblical saying applies in this case: 'To whom much is given much is expected'. Looking forward to more good music from this artist. Favorites: "Oh" and "Who Knew".

KEVON - WHO KNEW
Ok, let me start by saying from my heart that I love Kevon Edmonds,I think he is a very talented and gifted Artist with a truly amazing voice. However, after listening to his second solo project,I was really disappointed. He did not sing from his soul. He almost sounded as if he didn't know what he was singing about. The tracks were bad, the background singers were bad...they sound really lazy, the hooks were bad, and it sounded to me that he sang in the "same key" on every song thoughout the entire song. The title tracks did not have much to do with the lyrics and just not enough musical instruments such as synthesizers, etc. For such a short CD why were there two intros? Apparently, this project needed some more work and maybe a song or two from Babyface would have been great! Not sure why there were NO collaborations from Face or if they had conflicting schedules, but really sad if they couldn't work out something.Maybe my disappointment is due to the high anticipation I had.Kevon could have even added a couple songs, one from the Save the Last Dance Soundtrack called "Move It Slow" or one from THe Best of After 7 CD a song he recorded "Not Enough Hours in the Night" or the track with his brothers called "Honey".They harmonized very well on that particular song. The brothers are really talented and I expected nothing but the best, but whatever his goal was on this CD in my opinion, it did not "capture" whatever he was trying to say and will have a tough time capturing his audience. If he was trying to make a point, I guess I missed it.Usually when I put on an After 7 or a Kevon CD I listen to it over and over and over consecutively. Not this one.I guess I'll just continue to listen to his first solo project 24/7 which was and still is "HOT" and all of the After 7 CDs.I'm somewhat shocked that this material was released because Kevon can really sing!No doubt about that;I even enjoyed listening to him live one morning when he was on Tom Joyner at 6 AM;and he sounded ever so good. You are a true Artist when you can sing live and sound really great; but this.....only because of my deep love for him as an Artist I'll give it 3 stars which it does not deserve;hopefully he will not wait 10 yrs before he releases another one and the next one will be "HOT"!I must agree with one review that "OH" is the best song on the CD! Love you Kevon!

Kevon is ..Alright
This is an ok CD not something I would just have to have. The track "Oh" is by far this best on the CD. This Cd put me in the mind of some type of sound track of a Disney movie or something.

Kevon Edmonds - Who Knew
Well as most of you that are reading this probably know, Mr. Kevon Edmonds is the brother of hall of famer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, which is who landed him his big break back in '99 with his debut album 24/7, which was a smash. Now, ten years later Kevon finnally released his follow up to the highly successful debut album, and let me say, i am pretty shocked and not in a good way. This album is terrible, plain and simple. Anyone who tells you this album is worth the ten bucks, is flat out lying to you. I never really was a big fan of Kevon Edmonds but i figured i would give this album a shot, and see if its any good. But nope, its just as bad as i was expecting it to be. His voice to me anyways, sounds far to feminine for me to even get into the music. And the production on this album, is so bland and boring, and that is mostly to do with the lack of any big name producers on the album. And to make matters even worse, theres only ten tracks on the album, and two of those tracks are interludes making the album seem incredibly short. The only good, actually the only ok song on the album is the timid baby maker "Calling". But even that track is kind of hard to get into because you can hardly even tell what hes saying in the chorus. Overall i am extremely disappointed that i spent ten bucks on such a terrible album and i advise everyone, whether you are a fan of his or not, avoid this album because you will be disappointed... unless you find it used somewhere for dirt cheap.
